01.15.09 ~ “Simplicity”

Today was about simplicity. How living life simply does not mean going without, on the contrary it merely means going without the things that we do not want or need.
Today I noticed some of the simple things that make life so sweet like;
Emmett discovering and chasing his own shadow at the park.
How the smell of new canvases at Pearl Paint brought me back to the endless hours I spent in painting studios in college.
How luxurious it feels to be able to take a nap in the afternoon.
It truly is the simple things that make life sweet.
